Fresh Peruperu & Pea Springtime Garden Salad

Honey House Cafe – Kerikeri Mission Station

Delight in the vibrant flavours of our garden-fresh salad, featuring peas and pea shoots harvested from the Kemp House garden. This dish brings together Karupaera and Matariki riwai (potatoes), all lightly tossed with tangy sour cream, roasted garlic, and a hint of lemon juice from the historic Rangihoua lemon tree. Seasoned to perfection with smoky salt from ‘Taipa Salt Pig’ and finished with a drizzle of ‘Evergreen Olive Oil’ from Taheke, this salad is a true celebration of local produce. Complemented by a smooth spinach purée and adorned with edible flowers from our garden, it’s a feast for both the eyes and the palate.

For an optional extra touch, add crispy bacon from our local butcher, ‘Churchills,’

Try our other two signature Savour Delights, made solely with you in mind.  Edible Flower Biscuits and our Refreshing Grapefruit Soda.
