The JFC Looong Seafood Lunch

Come and enjoy a special looong 10-Course Seafood lunch! One long table with all your favourite seafood and each course paired with a wine from our friends at Dancing Petrel Vineyard, who will pour and talk about their wines as lunch is served. Starting at 12 noon and running through until late in the afternoon.
As long-time residents of Paihia, Louise and Chester Rendell originally purchased the Paihia waterfront property in 1983 when it was a Motel and Tea House. It took about six weeks for them to work out that there was no money in “scones, jam and cream” and it wasn’t long before the ‘Courtyard Restaurant’ morphed out of the original Tea House. Later this became ‘Bistro 40’ and then ‘Only Seafood’ was established above Bistro 40 in 1991.
Fast forward to 2019, they decided to re-open the restaurant, under the JFC brand, with the simple aim of providing just good, honest, fresh fish & chips, as the business has evolved their vision has been to offer a much larger range of seafood locally sourced from the Bay of Islands first, then Northland where possible, which we are excited for you to taste while enjoying the beautiful surroundings.
