Standby for a ‘Remarkable’ evening sampling the freshest Northland Seafood and local Angus Beef paired with Marsden Estates exquisite fine wines.
The menu will include five exciting dishes to tease the palette, excite your taste buds and create memories to Savour.
The Remarkable Café & Seafood Restaurant is located in the old Post Office on the Mangonui waterfront. It is a more recent addition to the Far North fine dining scene, opening in 2023 by winemaker and viticulturist Richard Guthrey who fell in love with the region.
Marsden Estate was established almost 2 decades ago by Rod and Cindy MacIvor who developed the vineyard and winery and named it after Samuel Marsden, who planted the first grapevines in New Zealand at Kerikeri. As well as their own award-winning varieties, they produce wines for many of the smaller growers in the Northland area.
This collaboration is definitely one to put in your diary!
