A farm and a restaurant are joining forces to create an unforgettable experience of food and land. Start at Nadia’s Whole Garden, where you will see, touch, smell and hear about the organic seasonal produce growing. Then follow the produce into the doors of Schnappa Rock, here, Deano will showcase local food through a five course tasting menu.

Nadia’s Whole Garden is an organic no-dig market garden that was established five years ago, after Nadia experienced a life changing stomach illness. It was a farm born out of a simple question.. Why does produce taste so different when you grow it yourself? During the farm tour you will hear about Nadia’s journey to farming as well as the growing methods used today to make this garden a thriving producer of good food.

Schnappa Rock is proud to join Nadia’s Whole Garden for this special event celebrating flavour, freshness and community. Head chef Deano brings his deep respect for seasonal, honest ingredients to every dish—carefully crafting a lunch that highlights the vibrant produce grown just up the road. With a menu rooted in connection to place and people, Schnappa Rock’s contribution reflects our long-standing love of the coast, good food, and doing things properly.

We cannot wait to take you behind the plate to showcase the powerful connection of local ingredients to amazing dishes. This will be a memorable experience that will spark inspiration for your garden and kitchen.

Time: 12:30pm-2pm (farm tour will be approx 1-1.5hours) then head to Schnappa Rock from 2.30pm – 5pm.
