McLeod’s Brewery X Schnappa Rock Beer Tasting Dinner

Schnappa Rock Restaurant is teaming up with the team from McLeod’s Brewery and you won’t be disappointed. Geoff and Clayton who were big fans of craft beer from travels abroad, craved brews bold in flavour that were wholly authentic and wanted to make it in their own back yard. They did just that, launching McLeod’s in 2014 from their Waipu location and have never looked back. They have won countless awards, most recently taking out 8 Golds at the Brewers Guild NZ Beer Awards 2024, including 8 Golds, overall Champion Medium Brewery PLUS Champion New Zealand Beer!
Working alongside our amazing chef Dean Thompson who was recently named one of the youngest Beef and Lamb NZ ambassador chefs. Our restaurant sources as much of its ingredients locally as it can, including its own spray-free garden in Maungatapere, locally line-caught fish and uniquely Northland ingredients like bananas. With the addition of McLeod’s beer, it’s a combination not to be missed.
