Locally foraged watercress greens and Kawakawa harvested according to our tikanga (Māori custom), we celebrate all who we are by sharing kai (food) with our manuhiri (visitors).  Savor the delightful embrace of the sun at the Railway Station Café, where you can indulge in mouthwatering creamy smoked Kahawai Fish Cakes, delicately poached eggs, and a velvety hollandaise sauce with a zesty lime and Kawakawa twist. Each dish is a masterpiece, harmoniously complemented by a refreshing cup of Lemon, Ginger Kawa tea, a lively naturally caffeine free blend of lemongrass, ginger, calendula flowers and Kawakawa, lovingly sourced from Kerikeri Organic Tea.

The Railway Station Café presents a charming selection of classic baked goods, hearty breakfast, and lunch options, all perfectly paired with locally brewed Max coffee and the delightful Kerikeri Organic Tea range.

After your meal, elevate your experience with a breathtaking two-hour train journey along the serene Taumārere River, or if you’re feeling energetic, rent a bike and explore the scenic Pou Herenga Tai Twin Coast Cycle Trail.
