Enjoy an interactive experience that lets you experience how Sea Salt, Olive Oil and Wine are produced in the Far North. A beach bucket run, a tour of a salt farm, a stroll around an Olive Grove and a Wine tasting with a stunning view. These are just part of a fun filled day for foodies or the whole family.

Kotare Subtropicals Ramble

Come and join us for a guided walk around the Kotare Farm Orchard, Nursery, and Greenhouse, where we’ll showcase our range of edible subtropical plants growing both outdoors and indoors. You'll get the chance to sample some of our homegrown New Zealand bananas. With a little help from the warm October sun, we’re also hoping to provide a taste of our greenhouse-grown pineapples, including the Queen or Cayenne varieties.

Savour Northland will celebrate our abundance this October, with locally inspired dishes, one-off events, incredible collaborations and workshops.
