For our showpiece event, we raise a glass to Northland with a six-course food and wine tasting menu, exclusively paired with wines from 144 Islands. Each course has been carefully designed to showcase the richness of our region, celebrated within the walls of Northland’s most historic restaurant on the Russell waterfront.

At The Gables Osteria & Enoteca, we pride ourselves on sourcing from local producers, blending Northland ingredients with our Italian inspiration to create dishes that are both unique and memorable.

Adding to the evening, 144 Islands vintner Jake Dromgool will personally guide you through the pairings, sharing the stories, flavour profiles, and craft behind each wine. His insights will deepen your appreciation of the exceptional connection between what’s on the plate and what’s in the glass.
