In collaboration with award winning vigneron Jake Dromgool owner from Northlands 144 Islands, our very own chef Dean Thompson will create a 5-course menu to match Jake’s excellent wine. This will be a standout event showcasing the best Northland produce paired with unique local wines
Dean Thompson recently named as one of the youngest Beef and Lamb NZ ambassadors will create a menu that is bursting with local Northland produce and flavours.
‘It’s important to me as a chef to use the best ingredients, supporting local producers and cooking as sustainably as I can. Collaborating with 144 Islands matches our values. They are a Vineyard situated in the hills outside of Kerikeri and produce unique, singular wines that showcase Northland as well. The wines not only tell a story of their land and the vintage of their conception, but they also tell a story of a family’s dedication to creating wines which are truly divine.
