144 Islands at The Gables – It’s all about the Wine

We’re excited to be kicking off our Savour Northland events by partnering with our good friend Jake Dromgool – founder & vigneron of 144 Islands Wines.
144 Islands Wines take their name from their home in the Bay of Islands, and are dedicated to producing small volumes of singularly fine wines using grapes grown on their Home Block just outside of Kerikeri, as well as aperitifs made using native New Zealand ingredients sourced from their garden and the nearby Puketi Forest
Led by Jake & our own Sommelier Michael Tully, this informal wine tasting will feature a selection of 144’s award winning wines and will cover all aspects of winemaking in Northland, with some great stories intertwined.
